Organizations encourage people to think differently about alternative energy
Recently, retired Marine Corps Lt. General Richard Zilmer was in mid-Michigan to talk about alternative energy, and why he believes it should be a national security priority to shift away from a dependence on petrolium. He spoke with WCMU’s Mike Horace, who asked him why he views wind, solar, hydro and geothermal power as crucial to the future of the United States.
We also spoke with Keith den Hollander, the National Field Director for the Christian Coalition. He makes the argument that not only is a reliance on foreign oil bad for national security in the United States, but it is also bad for U.S. families and communities.
